My wife and I are directly affected by this power line. We are ONE of the only houses within feet of the line. We are very concerned about the value of our land dropping, the power line noise, and the view of having a power pole in our backyard. We have been told that we would receive a fair settlement for removing 50 to 100 trees, and the rest of our concerns. We have no reason to believe this, and hope the PSC does not allow this to happen, or make sure that we are fairly compensated for our troubles. |

My wife and I are opposed to this project as it will bring the transmission lines within 100 feet of our home and 2/3 of our property will be under easement. While Ameren says they will pay fair market value, what they are taking will destroy the future value of our property. Moving these current lines 150 feet closer to our house, can't be worth the cost. |
