P202100000 7/1/2020 2:08 PM (co) See attached. Called and spoke to customer at 1:42 pm on 7/1/2020. He stated he will sue Ameren if an incident occurs. Because smart meter opt-out charges passed, doesn't mean it's right. He is not paying the charges.

He's upset that his security will be breached by having to install a smart meter and he doesn't feel he should have to pay to have an analog. He's also upset that he wasn't notified that this could be approved and feels Ameren and MPSC dropped the ball for customers.

The literature has not been broken down. They need to ensure they are providing information to all customers, not just ones with computers.
P202200585 4/25/2022 10:13 AM I adamantly reject this rate raise. People are already hurting badly with the cost of groceries & gas. Everyone has to tighten their belts, not expand them. Everyone has to dig in with their heals & wait out this inflation & slow economy. Now is definitely NOT the time to worry about pay raises. If everyone chooses to get pay raises, that will only create mo inflation. 6our accountants should already understand that.

P202200620 6/2/2022 9:34 AM (co) Customer called stating this is outrageous. Why can't it be like New Hampshire and Vermont? Don't like this at all. Bills high enough already. Get increase every other month. Has to do with health risks and security risks. Shouldn't have to be forced to pay to not have that.

P202300419 9/6/2022 8:58 AM I feel the AMI opt-out fee is an extreme position to take on a person. It is forcing people to chose something that is not what they want.
P202300420 9/6/2022 9:02 AM I am just really disappointed with the approval of this fee. I have safety concerns and I don't feel enough public communication was done with this decision. I don't understand why we can't keep the same meter and not go to analog or the smart meter. There needed to be more community announcements and social media information. I feel the fee is taking away people who can't afford its privacy rights and personal choice. Perhaps a fee waiver for those on social security or low income?
P202300422 9/6/2022 2:44 PM There needs to be an assistance program for those on social security who wish to opt-out of the AMI. Senior citizens can't afford to pay those fees which are an extra 500 a year. This meter is not safe and can effect our health more.

P202301098 11/1/2022 11:08 AM My concern is smart meters,,,over the Summer Ameren put a smart meter on my home,right on the other Side of my bedroom wall. I soon noticed tingling in my arms and head. I started waking up to severe headaches. I started researching the dangers of smart meters. (See attached)
P202301174 12/27/2022 2:43 PM Customer called stating she recently had her smart meter removed and an old analog meter put on. They're charging her $40.00 a month to do that plus $100.00 fee for the meter reader to snap a picture and send it off. California pays $7.00 a year. Arizona pays $15.00 a year. This is highway robbery. People can barely pay their bills. If someone wants to take a picture, there's absolutely no reason we can't do it ourselves.

Several states have put a moratorium in place because they're not safe. They can cause people's houses to burn on fire. They didn't do their homework on any kind of safety. That's just wrong.

He feels company shold have accts on a budget based on the average of the last 5 yrs usage , no reason to come out every month to, this should be a once a year check and fee. Says their meter was just read by a drone
