I am against the battery storage facility being built. I live close to the area that this will be built. I don't want the noise from the facility itself nor the disruption from it being built.

During last night's hearing on Ameren's solar/battery case, Ameren spokesman Steve Wills said even without subsidies solar is the lowest cost per kWh. . Solar can come online much quicker than natural gas. Solar with battery backup provides 24 x 7 availability and the ability to offset peak demands. Several testimonies list the clean air and health benefits of solar. Wholesale gas prices will continue to rise but sunlight never gets more expensive. Instead of building a 2100MW gas plant install solar with batteries to save consumers money and avoid putting any more CO2 in the air.

Instead of building this 2100MW gas facility put in a solar/battery facility to save consumers money.
