Even when gas prices or oil prices go down, we still pay the same rate! No discounts. Don't they save that extra money? Are we getting a credit because the market went down? I don't think so. My bill was 190.00 a month for atleast 9 months of not longer without any adjustment to my billing, even though I am on their budget billing. (See attached) |

Evergy is a multi-billion dollar company. They take the risks of changing fuel costs in their business. They need to take steps to cinch their corporate belts a little tighter and not pass this expense onto customers who have no choice but to purchase their electricity from Evergy. |

Knowing this I have always been amazed that Evergy uses some of their revenues (our fees) to advertise on signs, television, radio etc. Every Royals or Chiefs broadcasts have Evergy advertising. Obviously Evergy wants to be seen as a big player among the Metro business community. (see attached) |

That fee would bring a hike of more than $4.00 a month for customers to deal with. Inflation is straining budgets, and there seems to be no end in sight. Gas prices have come down, why should electric charges increase? I understand this is a charge assessed on the last part of 2022, but it seems harsh to assess it at this time when people are feeling a pain in their budgets already. Please reconsider. |

Then this morning I read in the paper about free tickets being given to political figures for Chiefs games. I love the Chiefs but not it's not right at the expense of ratepayers and taxpayers. Please have your commission do something to stop this from happening. |
