P202400037 | 7/17/2023 8:58 AM | How is it the Missouri Commissioner as well as the NARUC allowed Evergy to become not only the ONLY electricity utility in the northwestern Missouri area but also the eastern state of Kansas to include Topeka & Lawrence Kansas? (see attached emails for full details) |
P202400218 | 9/20/2023 1:05 PM | I am opposed to them wanting to take away the option to change rate plan during the year because that allows me to choose a cheaper plan depending on the time of year. Taking that away sounds more like it would benefit Evergy and not the customers. |
P202400287 | 11/30/2023 10:49 AM | The TOU rates are discrimination against all-electric based customers who will seeing large increases in their bills. I have an all-electric heat pump and it is not designed to be off for 4 hours during peak times like the company wants. These plans do not have the customers in mind and none of these companies have any idea what they're doing. I have testified in federal cases regarding energy matters and know what I'm talking about and these rates are not good for anyone. |
P202400298 | 1/3/2024 8:55 AM | After having been under your time of day use rate plan for a short period of time I am paying more for electricity. We try to be conscious of the time of day when using our large appliances but with both myself and my wife being retired we do things when we have the chance. MPSC is costing seniors like us more money which we simply don’t have. Congratulations to you for making it hard to live in the State of Missouri. I urge you to reconsider this horrible rate plan and revert back to a flat, more affordable plan |
P202400394 | 3/29/2024 2:12 PM | "I feel like the companies are trying to make profits off of the customers who are all electric and pushing people to solar and using the grid possibly failing as the reason. Companies need to make improvements to grid instead of punishing the customers. I do not think it's fair that we have to keep paying more for utilities when pay isn't increasing. |
P202400767 | 6/12/2024 11:38 AM | My net meter billing has become a nightmare of complexity since the advent of time of use billing. Even more so this past month when Evergy West (formerly Aquila, Utilicorp and Missouri Public Service) billing overlaps both summer rates and winter rates on my bill. What used to take minutes to review now requires an hour by the time I call Evergy and get transferred at least twice to find someone that can provide me a breakdown of my energy delivered and energy received. Evergy still only shows this in total so I must call in every month to request this to be able to check my bill compared to my own solar array readings. This month I had to request ALL of this:..*See attached |
