P202400218 9/20/2023 1:05 PM I am opposed to them wanting to take away the option to change rate plan during the year because that allows me to choose a cheaper plan depending on the time of year. Taking that away sounds more like it would benefit Evergy and not the customers.
P202400287 11/30/2023 10:49 AM The TOU rates are discrimination against all-electric based customers who will seeing large increases in their bills. I have an all-electric heat pump and it is not designed to be off for 4 hours during peak times like the company wants. These plans do not have the customers in mind and none of these companies have any idea what they're doing. I have testified in federal cases regarding energy matters and know what I'm talking about and these rates are not good for anyone.
P202400298 1/3/2024 8:55 AM After having been under your time of day use rate plan for a short period of time I am paying more for electricity. We try to be conscious of the time of day when using our large appliances but with both myself and my wife being retired we do things when we have the chance. MPSC is costing seniors like us more money which we simply don’t have. Congratulations to you for making it hard to live in the State of Missouri. I urge you to reconsider this horrible rate plan and revert back to a flat, more affordable plan
P202400394 3/29/2024 2:12 PM "I feel like the companies are trying to make profits off of the customers who are all electric and pushing people to solar and using the grid possibly failing as the reason. Companies need to make improvements to grid instead of punishing the customers. I do not think it's fair that we have to keep paying more for utilities when pay isn't increasing.
