P202200412 | 12/16/2021 9:16 AM | PSC should stop the City of Eureka sale their municipal water system to MAW. I am attaching a file of information collected from concerned citizens of Eureka, who do to health issues are unable to continue trying to stop this project. Among seven areas of concern, the voters were misled in their estimated future rates from MAW, as the calculator provided to voters used 5/8 meter rate which does not exist in Eureka, rates are considerably higher based on meter size. see attachment for all info |

P202200512 | 3/12/2022 6:14 AM | Regarding the city of Eureka's water system sale to Missouri American Water. It should be worth noting that the City of Eureka further expects payment for the Arbor's development water infrastructure noted on page 2 of the staff reply brief just filed. This infrastructure was donated to the city of Eureka by the original developer, Mayor Flower being one of those developers. Residents of the Arbors continue to reimburse said developer(s) at a rate of ~$700 per household annually. |
P202200533 | 4/5/2022 8:23 AM | As the Missouri Public Service Commission considers for approval, the sale of the City of Eureka Water and Sewer departments to Missouri American Water Company, please vote “No” for the sale. Here is why: (See Attached) |
P202200534 | 4/5/2022 10:41 AM | Customer complaint is that he feels misled about the election. Eureka staff said the City had to sell because they were $20M in debt. Customer has since learned that while that is true, the City also has $14M in cash. Eureka also gave their employees a 3% raise before the election, so the City was not strapped for cash. Finally, he said customer's were not informed the sale would mean routine rate increases from the new for profit owner, MAWC. |
