P202302131 | 5/10/2023 1:34 PM | File No: WR-2023-0344 I would like to have a negative comment allowing an increase in public rates because I believe Neil misappropriate the expenses he has...please read attachment. I am a small business owner in Raytown and my property taxes are already increasing but yet Neil keeps junking up my neighboring property with his slum lord business which only hurt my property value not increase it. |
P202302135 | 5/13/2023 9:30 AM | Raytown water co has raised water every year for the last 4 or 5 years. The last time they raised rates they said they need to do replacement. But they bought a big building that used to be a bank & remodeled it. They keep saying they need to do replacement but I have not seen any replacement done over the past 20 + years I have lived in Raytown Thank you Roger Haws |
P202302136 | 5/16/2023 1:09 PM | I'm responding to the rate increase for Raytown Water Company. They don't deserve a increase. They only they don't know how to run a business. Only read meters every other month. Which cause me a 700.00 bill cause of a leak. If they had read the meter it would have been caught a month before. They couldn't even get the payment agreement right for me to make payments. I'm on a fixed income, but they and other compaines don't seem to care. |
P202302138 | 5/22/2023 5:20 PM | 1. This is beyond nickel and diming, this is quarter and dollaring. 2. I want any one in this meeting, for or against, to go to work tomorrow and ask their manager for a 19% raise. You'll either get laughed out of the room, or fired shortly after. 3. The sheer gall the water company has to even approve internally of asking for this increase, should forebay them from asking again for the next 5 years. |
P202302139 | 5/23/2023 2:29 PM | Many problems with Raytown Water Co. for many years. Yard damage during repair work never satisfactorily repaired. we were not notified on day of Recent meter changeout and found doortag with instructions in our yard many days later. Disappointed no local hearing for proposed rate increase-feel like was intentionally done so public comments will not be heard. I and many others could go on and on. Company poorly run and does not rate increase at this time. |
P202400376 | 3/7/2024 10:28 AM | How can Missouri Public Service and the city of Raytown justify the upcoming increase in our water usage rates, particularly after Jackson County homeowners were hit so hard with last year’s real estate property taxes? Nearly doubling many of our bills with an additional $14-15 average increase per month is outrageous, particularly for the elderly on fixed incomes. If the city can find grants and generate bonds for improvements like the sewers and roads, something should have been done about water as well to keep these increases within an affordable range or to space them out over time. |
P202400713 | 4/30/2024 12:26 PM | Mr. Littrell left a voicemail indicating he was very unhappy with the rate increase that was imposed by Raytown Water Co. He feels the increase should be implemented gradually. |
P202400720 | 5/7/2024 9:09 AM | Regarding the case WR-2023-0344: A cursory review of the data on the web site highlights several items: A rate case hearing at the PSC is to approve or deny the rate request; it should not be a forum to substantially change the requested rate without resubmitting a rate request for public comment.
