P202400188 | 9/13/2023 11:59 AM | “I would like the PSC to reverse their decision to make every customer pick a plan and to just stay with the plan that they already have as Evergy has requested. Also, the proper role of government is not behavior modification.” |
P202400194 | 9/14/2023 9:43 AM | "I am pleased to provide this letter of support for Evergy's request to modify the tariffs to allow residential customers to opt-in to the traditional residential rate (i.e. "Anytime Plan") which has historically been in effect and is proposed to be offered as an option beginning May 1, 2024 rather than being terminated as scheduled under the approved Time-Of-Use Implementation Program." P202400195 | 9/14/2023 11:41 AM | Hello, I live north of Kansas City Missouri and currently pay Evergy for my electricity. Since Evergy bought KCPL in 2018, there have been threats of outages and blackouts (unheard of under KCPL). Evergy is now rolling out a new payment scheme without any public input. I have no doubt that by convoluting an otherwise simple process, Evergy will charge more for the same product over time. I believe this is to pad the cost of Evergy’s desire to move forward with “green” energy, regardless of public input. I am currently unable to change electricity providers. P202400205 | 9/18/2023 8:36 AM | From a consumer’s perspective, the communication and rollout of TOU Plans by Evergy has left a lot to be desired. Attaching the “saver” word to each plan is marketing deception and should not be allowed. Call the plans what they are. For example, the Peak Saver Plan should be renamed “Fixed Rate Plan” See attached for full comments. |
P202400215 | 9/19/2023 10:13 AM | I support time-of-use rates. In spite of that, I find Evergy's request to modify their recently approved rate plan outrageous. Consumers have already make choices based on the information Evergy provided. Evergy's recently approved time-of-use rate plan should be rescinded, and rates should remain as they are until Evergy's new proposal goes through the entire non-expidited approval process. Failing that, Evergy's request for “expedited treatment” should be denied. Changing the approved plan will harm consumers, reduce trust in government, and benefit only shareholders. |
P202400225 | 9/22/2023 9:48 AM | I am extremely concerned that the TOU rates will end up being a rate hike. I am also concerned that Evergy submitted an opt-out option and it is now off the table. I believe Evergy's customers should be given an opt-out option. |
P202400233 | 9/25/2023 7:50 AM | Stop the change to time based electricrates. |
P202400254 | 10/3/2023 1:10 PM | I object to any new price increases for Evergy for any reason. They say the increase may be as little as a penny. We live in the city of Weatherby Lake, MO which gets a 10% lug added to our electrical bill just for Weatherby Lake. So every cent Evergy increases my bill, there is another 10% added to my bill. Another question I have is "Why is Evergy advertising on tv?" We have no choice but to use Evergy and why should they be spending money to advertise? Further, if Evergy wants to save money, they can quit sending out and paying postage for those stupid letters telling me how much electricity I have used vs my neighbors. Evergy is a monopoly that needs to mind it's own spending and get out of my purse. I object! |
P202400297 | 1/2/2024 9:52 AM | "Solar customers are the ones trying to help the energy crisis but it seems like we are the ones being punished and not thought of. First with the TOU rates and taking the meter reads off of the bills. It just doesn't seem right." |
P202400341 | 2/7/2024 11:46 AM | It just doesn't seem right that utility companies can charge these delivery fees when we are already paying for the usage. We should just be charged for what we use; not all these overhead fees. |
