People expect a monthly bill. This is not a good way to do business. He understands there are technological errors. This is a dreadful situation. He does not want things to get out of hand. |

The increase of 15 or 17 for the same service especially electric is ridiculous especially after putting in all the wind turbines a couple years back. People are getting gouged with higher prices all the time some of it is just fraud. |

Despite assurances they would contact the university when a public hearing would be conducted in this rate case, that communication did not happen. Apparently, Liberty did a poor job of communicating this hearing to the public as well. There was an extremely poor turnout at the hearing in Hannibal. I request the PSC hold an additional Public Hearing in Hannibal to make up for this lack of communication. This proposed rate increase comes at tremendously difficult time for the Hannibal region already beset with rising costs and declining opportunities. |

Their customer service is not excellent. The company is inherently flawed. They should work on updating their systems before asking for more money. His most recent charge totaled $64.00, which included $42.00 for sewer and $15.00 for gas delivery. Right present, everything is becoming increasingly expensive due to inflation. This is extremely poor judgement on their part. |

I believe this rate increase is not only very untimely but an increase that is ridiculously high, doubling most families utility bill, crippling many people’s budgets. Reasonable raises over time is one thing, I ask that you would consider denying their request for a rate increase at this time. I thank you for your consideration. |

I am concerned about the cost for seniors and others who are living on a fixed income making it through the winter. More and more people are finding it harder to make their income last through the month with EVERYTHING going up. We only get so much and in the winter, heat is a necessity. Liberty's rate are already higher than everyone else's and with another increase will put most at risk people in more danger. |

When they went through their "billing company changes" last year it was a nightmare. I am on the Level Pay Plan and ended up paying well over $500 in 2 months and when I would ask I could never get an explanation as to why. They just kept saying it was their new billing process. I was only using gas for my hot water heater at that time. I know for a fact I did not use that much. When you have people struggling so much as it is now they want us to decided between staying warm or freezing just to eat. This is not right, to me is sounds too much like price gauging to line their own pockets. PLEASE do not approve this. Thank you for your time." |
