P202500783 | 9/24/2024 8:25 AM | As representative for the owners of nearly 1,000 acres in Worth County, we would ask that the notification process for the ATXI Project be reviewed by this Commission. Notice given was inadequate to inform of potential impact and damage to the land and allow meaningful input. After several attempts to attain information from the Company, on 9/18/24 a map showing the full extent of the impact and damage to the land was obtained. The map indicates the route was chosen with complete disregard to the interests of the landowners and will cause permanent, arbitrary damage to the land. We request the Commission review the notice procedures, and, if found lacking, require the route be refined and refiled to reflect the interests of the landowners. |
P202500872 | 10/22/2024 8:44 AM | The conclusion to support DO-28 over DO-27 is unsupported, specifically where the line crosses 46 Hwy. A comparison using recent maps should be done and a fair comparison will show DO-27 is the best route to cross Hwy46. Furthermore, the reasons given in J. Nicholas’ direct testimony do not warrant a radical re-route, His reasons demonstrate preferential treatment of some to the detriment of others. This is a formal request to deny DO-28 and return to the long standing DO-27. It remains the best path to cross 46 as determined by Ameren’s own criteria, as repeatedly communicated, etc. until an abrupt unjustified re-route replaced it without equal opportunity to the newly affected. DO-27 was and is (when compared fairly) the best route |
P202501110 | 12/11/2024 8:11 AM | "We are writing to you to ask that you reconsider the route for the new transmission line in Northwest Missouri. It was stated at the meeting that consideration was made for houses near the route. But we believe that you fail to see that your new line would cut between 3 houses that are a quarter of a mile apart. In the path of your lines is where our family would like to build another house as our youngest son wants to come back to the farm in the future. We already built the access from the highway into the field where we would like to build that new house. Our neighbors are planning to build a new house on the other side of the highway also." *See attached for full comment. |
P202501132 | 12/13/2024 10:53 AM | " I'm Cole Scroggs a landowner that you have proposed to put the transmission line through my property. I absolutely do not want it on my property. If you look at the line you take a 90 then right back on to my property. Just continue it straight. This would ruin my land and devalue it. You do no pay for devaluation. Stay off my hard earned property." |

P202501173 | 12/18/2024 7:39 AM | I own land in both Gentry and Worth counties and have recently watch the recorded Dec 9th&10th public hearings. I have to concur that it certainly would appear that Ameren has done a poor job in a number of areas regarding these new lines. One area is the notification of the proposed route, and the changes to that route. The other is the investigation and due diligence of new and existing homes and providing a reasonable buffer to these residents. I also have reached out to Ameren to try and acquire updated maps and more specifics only to be told nothing has been decided, it's before the commission for approval. It's as if they don't want input, and if you don't have the info, you can't very well object. Seems to be the mode of operation. |
