P202502862 | 5/12/2025 11:13 AM | Ashley's grandmother charged a massive amount of $ over summer 2024 for water that was 'turned on' for days. She didn't live in her home last summer. Ashley disputed the charges. I called to question a very high $500 bill for last summer. All the reps she spoke to lacked any amount of empathy for her grandma and her situation. They were cold and could care less. Ashley set up a pmt plan. Due to her grandmother's degrading health, they moved her to a home, and sold the house. Ashley forgot to pay the remaining balance on the account, so the balance of $353.77 was sent to collections, but with an increase and now owed $592.31. She paid the bill, but she thinks RW Co acted unethically and immoral toward her grandmother. |
P202600622 | 9/2/2025 8:14 AM | I live in Independence and am retired and on fixed income. So I want to state that I am completely against another rate increase for Raytown water which had a rate increase in 2024 of approximately 32% at that time which was bad enough on my fixed income budget. But now here comes Raytown water again asking for another rate increase of 25% approx this year. And btw you, the public service commission, so generously gave Raytown MORE than they requested in 2024. You were being generous with OUR money. So wow what can we expect this time another 32% increase? MORE than they are requesting this time? The entire rate proposal is obscene and unwarranted and the people in this community can NOT afford another rate increase period*See attached |
