Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, d/b/a AT&T Missouri, is revising Section 9 of its switched access services tariff (P.S.C. Mo.-No. 36) to explain that the company will provide directory assistance requests using an automated directory assistance service. A directory assistance charge will not apply if the automated operator is unable to provide a requested telephone number. The proposed tariff also increases from two to three the number of directory assistance requests allowed per call.
